As Herman Melville noted, "A good laugh is a mighty good thing, a rather too scarce a good thing."

...Not at Verge Theater, where the Bozeman Improverts reign over the Gallatin Valley's funny bones.

WE ALL HAVE ANGST. Might as well laugh about it. Think of the Improverts as the therapists you can actually afford. #CheapThrillsForYourLaughHole

Just what is improv, anyway?
Improv is part high-wire balancing act, part rodeo and ALL FUN. It's a unique, moment-in-time live theater event in which the plot, characters and dialogue of a game, scene or story are made up on the spot. The Improverts often take suggestions from the audience to get started, and then we all follow them down a rabbit hole full of laughs and thrills!

And just who are these Improverts?
The Bozeman Improverts have been performing together at Verge Theater for four years. Graduates of our five-course improv curriculum, they are masters of their craft... at least on stage. .Their day jobs range from children's book writer to baker and from real estate sales associate to full-time parent — all of which provide them with plenty of material from which to pull when attempting to make you laugh so hard you spit your beer through your nose. (Happens regularly. Don't get all hung up on it.)
