Verge Theater is more than a venue, it’s a Community!

Here at Verge we are committed to our mission to make theatre arts accessible to everyone. We will bring our program to YOU! Verge has previously partnered with local nonprofits like, Montana Racial Equity Project, Bridger Care, YMCA and more! If you are looking to bring theater arts into your organization or partnering with Verge Theater on a theatrical project we want to hear from you.

Contact our Education Director, Kate at kate@vergetheater.com to discuss how Verge Theater can bring our programs to your organization!

Montana Racial Equity Project

Montana Racial Equity Project performs work that centers on community organizing, education, and base-building. It is rooted in the principles of solidarity, equity, and interdependence. Through the building and strengthening of relationships and the growing of alliances and networks, we work to build intersectional, antiracist leadership and community power toward transformational change in Montana.

Bridgercare

Bridgercare is the leading provider of excellent, affordable reproductive & sexual healthcare & education in Montana

Montana State University

We partner with numerous entities at M.S.U. This year, the English Department and Writing Center sponsored Verge Theater’s Playwrights Festival.

Youth Dynamics

Youth Dynamics is a state-wide organization that provides strength-based, client-centered, supportive mental health services to children and families. This summer, Verge instructors began a weekly residency at the Youth Dynamic's day treatment program. This residency, which will continue this school year, aims to provide a fun and creative space for teens to build positive relationships and develop resilience.

Gallatin Valley YMCA

The Gallatin Valley YMCA works to strengthen our community by creating opportunities for youth development, and promoting healthy living and social responsibility. This summer, Verge taught improv workshops at YMCA camps around Gallatin Valley. Through this partnership, we nurtured the imaginations and confidence of over 200 kids!

Compassion Project

The Compassion Project is designed to bring the Bozeman community together through education in and outside the schools around compassion- what it means, how to recognize it, and how to practice it. This summer, Verge hosted a community workshop for the compassion project.

Bozeman Field School

Bozeman field school offers experiential-based learning to high school students. Verge is often invited to teach elective classes in theater, or to partner with Bozeman Field school teachers to bring embodied learning methods through theater into their classrooms. This spring, Verge will teach an elective class on personal performance through storytelling and spoken word poetry.
