Alex Miller, Board Secretary

Alex Miller (pictured here with his cooler sister, Maria) is thrilled to be a part of Verge Theater's Creative Task Force and Board of Directors! He hails from Billings, Montana where in his formative years he spent way too much time watching The Simpsons and failing at sports. Alex holds his undergraduate degrees in Film & Photography and English Literature from Montana State University. As a lifelong drama nerd, he cherishes the opportunity to connect with his community in meaningful ways through creative expression and collaboration. For Verge Theater he has directed ambitious projects: Annie Baker's three-hour Pulitzer Prize-winning The Flick; and a pandemic era livestream that was a fully remote, fully live air guitar epic, Airness. He returns to the Verge directors chair in March 2024 for the nightmare comedy My Barking Dog.  Recent performances include Mike in A Lie of the Mind (Blue Slipper Theatre), John Dodge in Middletown (Verge Theater), and Louis Ironson in Angels in America (Emerson Crawford Theater). Other interests include hiking with his partner Chris and their dog Reba, sci-fi and horror movies, and spinning tunes on his radio show, Sonic Roulette, on KGLT FM Saturday nights.
