Teresa has a background in coaching gymnastics and is an elementary educator in Bozeman. After taking two classes at the Verge, she felt convinced of the power of improv as a means of developing authentic connections and building community. She has since experimented with bringing improv into her third-grade classroom and has found it to be both hilarious and transformational.

Teresa’s teaching philosophy:

“I strive to create a learning environment that is supportive and safe. Through affirmation and humor, I encourage students to push through discomfort and take risks. I feel that improv is an incredible tool for building empathy, acceptance, and communication skills.”
