Hilary Parker was named Verge Theater's first Executive Director in August of 2017. She oversees (read: elbow greases) all aspects of Verge's operations and works in partnership with the board of directors, the creative task force, the education department and Verge's amazing volunteers to lead Verge's community-driven theater to new heights!
Hilary has lifelong experience with community theater as an actor and producer, and previously served on the board of directors for Madison Theatre Guild in Madison, Wisconsin. Hilary holds a degree in creative writing with a concentration in philosophy from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
She's most proud when she sees Verge playing a critical role in sparking conversations and building community in the Gallatin Valley and is honored to have the chance to contribute to Verge's culture of radical inclusivity. When not working, Hilary enjoys spending time with her family, connecting with community builders across Montana and even sometimes sleeping. She currently serves on the board of directors for The Compassion Project and is an active mentor for people interested in expanding their consciousness.
