While attending Ball State University in 1997, Annie immediately fell in love with improv. During the next four years, she worked to get her BA in psychology. But upon graduating and realizing that she might never perform again, decided to forgo her career and instead pursue improv, whatever that meant.
It meant working with as many teams and companies as she could, including the Smarty Pants Theater Co-op, a children's touring and teaching improv troupe (where she realized she loves to teach), iO West (where she met her future husband, Levin), USS Rock N Roll, and Heyday.
Annie has taught at iO West, Mi’s Westside Comedy Theater, AMDA and numerous colleges, high schools, theaters and festivals all over the country and beyond! She has toured numerous shows, including NOW Improv; a two-person touring and teaching show.
Annie has dedicated her life to the art and expansion of improvisation. She and Levin (and their 3 kids) continue to teach and tour and love… improv.
